About Me

I grew up in the Arizona desert, my imagination fueled by some of the big action movies of the 80s and 90s. After dabbling with writing through my high school and college years, I eventually gave up on it and decided to take a "brief" hiatus from writing. I switched my degree program from Creative Writing to Business Administration, and completed my degree at the University of Arizona. I also served in the military for several years and lived in Europe for a time. Before I knew it, it had been quite a few years since I had done any serious writing. During the last year or two, I watched with great interest the rise of self-publishing and the remarkable success that a number of talented indie authors were having. After winding up in Colorado with my current job, I decided to give writing another shot. I wrote the Extensis Vitae series during my spare time over the past couple years. I have since switched gears a bit and am now working on Nexus of the Planes, an epic fantasy series, which is another favorite genre of mine.
